TQM

TripleInk uses a Total Quality Management (TQM) process to deliver the highest quality translations, which includes the following steps:

Phase 1: Assessment
TripleInk project manager confirms intended use and target audience, communication guidelines and production specifications with client. The project manager will supervise all phases of translation and production.

Phase 2: Briefing
Assigned language team receives project brief with all key information, timelines and reference material. As needed, TripleInk conducts product training.

Phase 3: Adaptation
A native-speaking translator produces initial translation. Next, a native-speaking editor performs thorough copy editing for linguistic accuracy, technical and legal fidelity, clarity of expression, and cultural appropriateness. Last, a native-speaking technical expert reviews foreign language version as needed. Translation memories and/or glossaries are employed and developed throughout the adaptation process and beyond.

Phase 4: Client Review & Refinement
Client and/or client's representative in the target market reviews and approves the foreign language copy. TripleInk incorporates appropriate client revisions and prepares foreign language copy for production.

Phase 5: Production
TripleInk proceeds with type/layout production, studio recording or interactive production. Throughout the production phase, all materials undergo several rounds of proofreading and other quality checks, as appropriate.

Phase 6: Final Quality Control
For printed materials, TripleInk proofs final layout, match prints, and/or performs press checks. For audio-visual materials, TripleInk reviews audio or video files before release. For interactive materials, TripleInk performs beta testing. All materials are presented to client for final approval.
